Abstract
PURPOSE: To conduct dual alternate output by fixing a rachet wheel in the centre of an auxiliary shaft having a first output element at one end and by loosely fitting on the auxiliary shaft at both sides of the rachet wheel a lower gear with a different number of teeth and an upper gear which can be engaged with a second output element through up-and-down movement.
CONSTITUTION: Bearing pipes 10 and 11 are loosely fitted outside both upper and lower ends of a first auxiliary shaft 8 and an upper gear 13 is fitted in the upper bearing pipe 10 with free vertical movement and rotation. A lower gear 14 of which number of teeth is different from that of the upper gear 13 is fitted rotatably in the lower bearing pipe 11. They are all meshed with a drive gear 6 at all times. On the surface of the upper gear 13, a projection 16 which can be engaged with a circular slit 17 of the lower gear 14, a cutting 21 which can be engaged with a ratchet 20 of a ratchet wheel 19 fixed to the first auxiliary shaft 8 and a gear which can be engaged with a gear 22 are installed. Moreover, a crank 29 is provided in the lower end of the first auxiliary shaft 8 to reciprocate a link 30.
