Abstract

PURPOSE: To lighten weight and improve durability in such a way that the engine unit is attached through a cushion material by means of bridging over a rod in the intermediate part between U-letter shaped swing arms.
CONSTITUTION: An engine 10 for small sized vehicle forms an engine unit 5 which is integrated by a casing 11 to cover upto a driving wheel axle 6, a rod 16 is bridged over in the intermediate part between U-letter shaped swing arms 4, two sheets of plate-shaped brackets 17 are mounted at its central part, whereon are mounted a fitting bracket 18 on the engine side and a bolt 19, a cushion material 20, a washer 21 and a nut 22. Besides, a rear wheel holding bracket 23 at the rear part of the swing arms 4 are mounted on them whereon the driving wheel 6 is mounted through a set fixture 24 and a cushion material 25 using a bolt 26. In consequence, also vibration is not transferred to the engine unit 5 by means of the cushion material at the suspension part of the engine unit resulting in producing effect to lighten the weight and to increase the durability.
