Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure automatically and efficiently a water level of a place to be measured, even at a point where cannot be seen through, by making a closed- type water tank and an electrode type water gauge are connected each other by a communicating vessel. CONSTITUTION:Plural electrode type water gauges 2 are placed at equal intervals extending over the circumferential direction of a ring-like molding frame so as to be directed in the almost vertical direction, and the bottom part of these water gauges 2 and that of a closed-type water tank 1 are made to connect each other through a flexible communicating vessel 8 which scarcely causes a sectional deformation. Also, on the bottom part of the closed-type water tank 1, a pressure gauge 9 is provided, and this output is inputted to a microcomputer 13 through an A/D converter 15. A thermocouple 10 is provided in order to compensate a variation caused by a temperature change of the pressure gauge 9. An output of the water gauges 2 is inputted to a microcomputer 13 through a multiplexer 18 and a comparator 19. The microcomputer 13 controls an electromagnetic valve 11 and an air pump 12 through a relay 17.
