Abstract

PURPOSE:To use electric equipments efficiently even by a breaker with small current capacity by monitoring timing information on the feeding and breaking of each equipment previously and by exercising control so that the total value of currents of the electric equipments is average in terms of time. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a 1KW hot plate and a 600W electric ''kotatsu'' (foot warmer with quilt over it) are both used, a terminal controller is provided to each equipment. A sequence of pulses of an equipment number code 13, a set temperature code 14 and a present temperature value code 15 is sent from the hot plate terminal controller to a centralized controller. From the electric ''kotatsu'', an equipment number code 16, a set temperature code 17 and a present temperature value code 18 are sent with a slight difference in time. On the basis of those pieces of information, the centralized controller determines which equipment is turned on and which one off, and sends instruction signals for those, e.g. the equipment number code 20 and feeding instruction code 21 of the hot plate and then the equipment number code 22 and breaking instruction code 23 of the electric ''kotatsu''. Therefore, the hot plate and electric ''kotatsu'' are turned on and off as shown in figures 24 and 25, and the total current in 26, so that a 10A breaker is useable.
