Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure flow rates in response to the amount of usage by inputting the pulses from a small flow rate sensor and a large flow rate sensor to electronic counters corresponding to the weighting, and switching the sensors in response to the flow rates. CONSTITUTION:An electronic water meter 70 for measuring the small flow rate which comprises the small flow rate sensing part 11 and an integrated display part 15 and an electronic water meter 80 for the large flow rate which comprises the large flow rate sensing part 12 and an integrated display 16 are provided in a water pipe. The meters are switched by a flow path switching valve 13 in response to the large flow rate and the small flow rate. The outputs from the sensing parts 11 and 12 are fed to the different smallest digits in the electronic counters 23 and 24 through device difference compensating circuits 17 and 18 in response to the weighting of electric pulse signals. The output from the electronic counter 23 is fed to the same digit in the electronic counter 24 through switching circuits 21 and 20. Therefore, the flow measuring devices are switched in response to the flow rates, and the small flow rate and the large flow rate are integrated and displayed by the electronic counter 24.
