Abstract
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate aeration, by promoting proliferation of animal and plant bacteria in water with a rotary member, comprising a string member including a plurality of radiate fine threads between end plates, located inside a purifier.
CONSTITUTION: Rotary discs 4, 5 are fixed to a main shaft 3, horizontally spanned between the side walls 1a and 1b of a purifier 1 in which a certain amount of filthy water 2 is received, near the opposite ends of the shaft 3. A string member 8 is fixed to one end of each hook 9, while the other end of the hook 9 is hung on each of net members 6, 7 having the same meshes insie the discs 4, 5, at corresponding positions. The string members 8 are stretched in parallel to the shaft 3. The string member 8 is made of nylon or the like, and composed of a string 8a and multidirectionally extending fine threads 8b assembled to the string 8a. This construction offers the most suitable environment for existance of animal and plant bacteria in the water. Consequently, an organism-living balance is maintained, a food cycle chain between bacteria is elongated, and generation of excess sludge is reduced.
