Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled conveyor being easy to manufacture and assemble and forming stronger magnetic flux on a drum surface of which a structure is simplified by constituting the same in such a manner that a rotary drum having a permanent magnet mounted to an inner side thereof is rotated and a ferromagnetic material adsorbed to a surface thereof is conveyed thereby.
CONSTITUTION: In order to convey a substance to be conveyed which is a ferromagnetic material, a place where a cylinder 18 is most close to an inner peripheral surface of the drum is formed as a carry-in part and a place most distant therefrom as a carry-out part. Then, to an outer peripheral surface of the drum 11 in said carry-out part, a scraper 22 is mounted so as to be contacted therewith and, at the carry-in part, a substance to be conveyed is adsorbed and the internal cylinder 18 is rotated along with rotation of a roller 10. Therefore, under a condition wherein said substance is adsorbed to an outer peripheral position of the drum corresponding to each magnetic pole of the cylinder 18, it is rotated to a counterclockwise direction. In this case, at a place where periphral surfaces of the drum 11 and the cylinder 18 are most distant and adsorption due to magnetic force is weakest, the substance to be conveyed is removed from the peripheral surface of the drum 11 by the scraper 22 to be carried out.
