Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve SN ratio and make the highly accurate measurement of unbalance possible by constituting the rotor and revolving shaft of an electric motor into one body, separating a stator and mounting the same to a stand. CONSTITUTION:A housing 14 which holds a test body 11 and supports a revolving shaft 12 freely rotatably is supported vibratably by a leaf spring 15. A pulse generator 19 which detects the rotating angle of the shaft 12 and the coreless disc type rotor 20 of an electric motor are constituted into one body with the shaft 12. A brush 21 supplies electric current to the rotor 20. A magnet 22 constituting the stator of the motor is fixed to a stand 18. When electric current is flowed to the rotor 20, the rotor 20 rotates, and the shaft 12 and the body 11 rotate integrally with this. Vibrations are produced in the housing 14 by the centrifugal forces owing to the unbalance existing in the body 11. The vibrations are detected with a vibrator detector 17, whereby the unbalance is measured.
