Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection of lead wires and contrive automatic connection by a method wherein an end of the lead wire which is used to connect solar battery elements each other is bent with a length longer than the thickness of the solar battery element. CONSTITUTION:One end of a round wire 22 which is coated with solder beforehand is bent semicircular with 4mm. radius. When solar battery elements 1 are conncted each other in series, required number of the lead wires 221 are provided on the back and the lead wires 222 are provided on the light receiving surface of the solar battery elements respectively. The lead wires are positioned in such a manner that the bent part of the lead wire 222 overlaps with the lead wire 221 but do not overlap with the adjacent element 1. With above configuration , connection of the lead wires can be performed easily and automatic connection can be performed.
