Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve purity of cutting liquid and allow it to use effectively in such a way that feeding of cutting liquid is brought to a stop for the determined time, material capable of coming up to the surface is floated up in the cutting liquid reservoir, and the supernatant is drained out of the feeding system. CONSTITUTION:Feeding liquid is brought to a stop just for the time while it is necessary to float up the material capable of coming up to the surface in a cutting liquid reservoir 6. After the cutting liquid has been kept stationary for the determined time by means of a timer, the supernatant is raked by means of a raking device 7, and it is collected to a supernatant collecting place 11. The raking device 7 is integrated by a conveyor 9 and a raking scraper 8, which expels the supernatant and deposit. The supernatant which has been collected in the supernatant collecting place 11 is drained out of the system using an adhesive belt or the like. Thus, purity of the cutting liquid is held high, and the cutting liquid can be effectively utilized.
