Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having stable positive chargeability, stable performance in a wide humidity range, and small fluctuation of image density, by adding an ethylenical olefin polymer and a beta-ketone complex to a developing powder (toner). CONSTITUTION:The toner of this invention contains by its 0.01-10wt% s complex of a metal, such as Al, Ni, Mn, Co, or Cu, and a beta-diketone, such as acetyl acetone, represented by the formula in which R1, R2 are each alkyl, aryl, or a derivative of them, and M<n> is an n-valent metal, and an ethylenical olefin polymer, such as polyethylene or an ethylene-acrylic ester copolymer by >=wt% of the total wt. of a binder resin, thus permitting this toner to form a sharp high resolution copy image free from fog with comparatively low pressure, and to obtain a good image even under high temperatre and high humidity conditions.
