Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the conductivity and dielectric constant of a liquid to be measured simultaneously by a common circuit by obtaining the rectification output and synchronous rectification output of a current flowing between electrodes applied with an AC voltage. CONSTITUTION:A couple of electrodes P1 and P2 are dipped in a liquid L to be measured, and an AC voltage having constant amplitude is applied from an energizing part G to the electrodes P1 and P2 through a current-voltage conversion part IVC. A current flowing between the electrodes P1 and P2 is converted by the IVC into a voltage, which is applied through a rectification part RE to a smoothing part SM2 to be smoothed. The output of the IVC, on the other hand, is applied to a synchronous rectification part SR, which performs synchronous rectification according to the AC voltage from the energizing part G before a smoothing part SM1 performs smoothing operation. On the basis of output voltage e1 and e2, an arithmetic part OP performs prescribed arithmetic to display the found conductivity and dielectric constant of the liquid L on display parts DP1 and DP2. Thus, the electrode installation of a sensor is facilitated, and the maintenance and inspection are also made easy.
