Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily ensure the straight looking understanding of the position relation of one's plane to a desired course, by securing a simultaneous display for the position of navigation, the start point, the course pattern, the latitude/longitude data, the cross track distance (XTK), the track angle error (TKE) data, etc. CONSTITUTION:A navigating device consists of a circuit that stores the position of navigation and plural course pattern, a means that selects and optional course pattern, a means that sets the navigation start point, a display storage circuit plus a display device that store each data corresponding to each of the above- mentioned means and the data for identification of the cursor line, the latitude and longitude on a map, and operation switches plus the process circuits for various data. For instance, a flight path 2, latitude lines 3, longitude lines 4, cursor lines 5 and 6 plus their intersection 7, latitude/longitude display values 8 and 9, a course pattern, TKE, XTK, etc. are displayed at a time on a display device 1. In such a way, the straight looking understanding is made possible for the position of one's plane.
