Abstract

PURPOSE:To evenly destaticize the charge on dielectric recording media with a simple mechanism, by supplying water to the dielectric recording media, and then squeezing out the water and drying the media. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric recording medium 11 carried by a carrying roller 12, moves while it contacts with an upper sponge roller 13 which absorbs water through a lower sponge roller soaked in the water of a water tank 16, and thus, water is applied on the surface of the dielectric recording medium 11. Then, the recording medium is completely dried by a moisture absorbing drying roller 20 after the water on the recording medium 11 is squeezed out by a squeezing roller 18. In this way, charges on the recording medium 11 are removed. Therefore, uniform electricity removabls can be performed with a simple structure without harming the durability of recording media.
