Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture decorative sheets with high productivity without having to use a bonding agent, by printing a given pattern on the surface of a thermally fusible resin film. CONSTITUTION:An objective decorative sheet is obtained by printing a given pattern on the surface of a resin film of such types as polyester, polyamide, nitrile rubber and polyolefin, etc., and also by applying an overcoating onto thus printed surface as required. For actual application, rear side of this decorative sheet is laminated on a base material composed of metal, plastic and wood, etc., thermal pressure is applied by a hot rolling press or a thermally flattening press, etc. onto thus laminated body of the decorative sheet and the base material as a whole or mainly on the decorative sheet side, so that the resin film of the decorative sheet is melted while being pressed, and by joining the decorative sheet and the base material together by the bonding action of the fused resin, a decorative board is manufactured.
