Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a dust collecting efficiency by preventing a generation of secondary dust, by removing and separating remained dust contained in packing material in a packing-material supplying chute with the aid of a part of purified gas, at the dust collecting for high temp. dust-containing gas by using packing material.
CONSTITUTION: A supporting member 23 having a lot of fein holes arranged vertically betw. an air inlet hood 24 and an exit one; packing material 1 consisting of sands, gravels, ceramics etc. are moved downward through the inside of the member 23. Dust-containing gas is introduced to a hood 24 from a duct 15a to pass through the packing material 1 which moving downward in the inside of the member 23, and the dusts contained in the gas are caught by the material 1, and then purified gas is taken out from the hood 25. Dusts 2 are separated from the materials 1 by a vibrating screen 12 and fall downward to be housed; and the materials 1 are conveyed to the upper side by a bucket conveyor 13 to be moved downward again in the member 23. At this time, a part of the purified gas is blown into a duct 29 from a nozzle 28 by a blower 14, and the dusts stuck to the material 1 are separated and removed by wind force; thus the filtering capacity of the materials 1 are recovered.
