Abstract

PURPOSE: To blank end parts with punch holders for the end parts of material and to improve yield by successive fixing the plural punch holders which are fixed with multiple punches and are made slightly freely elevatable cooperatively with the spindle of a press and blanking the material.
CONSTITUTION: A number of punch holders 4 are suspended slightly freely elevatably from a punch head 3, and cam blocks 6 are fixed respectively to the upper parts of the holders 4. Then, unloading cams 8 which are freely removable by cylinders 7 are provided between the blocks 6 and the head 3. The holders 4 are put in a piercing state or unpiercing state simply by inserting or removing the cams 8 cooperatively with the spindle 17 of the press. Hence, if the holders 4 for the leading and trailing end of a short sized material 14 are attached, both end parts are blanked.
