Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain uniform welding and appearance over a total surface by a method wherein a frame made of a material same to that of a filter is molded separately and, thereafter, said filter and said frame are integrated by ultrasonic welding to enhance injection molding property of a frame member. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene resin or the like is formed into a yarn like form and, in order to integrate a filter member 5 woven from said yarn like resin in a wavy fashion and a frame member 6 which is made of a material same to that of said filter member 5 and has a lower M.W., the frame member 6 is set to a horn receiver 8 so as to contact a surface of said frame member 6 reverse to a surface on which ribs 6a are provided with said horn receiver 8 and, after the filter member 5 is temporally fastened to a pin 6b, ultrasonic wave is applied by a fusing horn 7. The ribs 6a provided to the frame member 6 is molten at first by friction of a contact surface thereof and, next, the filter member 5 is molten to be integrated to the frame member 6. Further, an end surface of the filter member 5 is positioned to an inner side from an outer peripheral surface of the frame member 6 and the fusing horn 7 is arranged such a condition that a width D of said horn 7 is larger than a width E of the frame member 6.
