CONSTITUTION:A balance-adjusting device 7 is provided on the side 1'' of a photoreceptor drum 1. The device 7 consists of a part 8 fixed to the side 1'' and a mobile part 9 composed of a linear step motor for changing its position in response to a pulse signal fed through the lead wires drawn froma power supply 10 attached to a rotary shaft 2 in accordance with a predetermined rotation balance pattern in order to adjust the balance. When a preset number of copies is taken, photoreceptor sheets are moved, and the mobile part 9 is moved in accordance with the movement quantity of the sheets, thus permitting unevenness of drum rotation speed to be compensated, and a small size motor to be used.
