Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a pickup cartridge with good signal separation wihtout cross talk, by oscillating a pair of independent armatures corresponding to each speed amplitude of two modulation walls of a record disc in independent magnetic circuits. CONSTITUTION:Operation gap formed with pole pieces 26, 27 and 25, 28 is independent and the shortent length of each operation gap is within a parallel planes P2, P3 for two modulation walls of a record disc. Armatures 23, 23' are respectively magnetized lengthwise in the respective operating gap and fixed to a holder 35 in parallel with a cantilever 22. When one modulation wall oscillates a stylus chip 22 orthogonally according to recording, the armature 23 operates in parallel with the plane P2, and magnetic flux change to the operation gap between pole pieces 26, 27, an electromotive force is produced in a coil 32 and an electric output signal is picked up at a terminal 34. In this case, since the armature 23' moves in parallel with the pole pieces 25, 28, no magnetic flux change is caused in the operation gap.
