A required focus error signal is detected through an optical system 33 and a focus error signal detecting circuit 34, and a focusing point is detected by a focus detecting circuit 37, and at this time, the circuit 41 is stopped to operate a focusing driving circuit 39. When DC components of the error signal is fluctuated by the warp or the like of a disc 32, the actuator 1 displaced in the direction of the optical axis through DC components detecting circuit 38 and the driving circuit 40.
