CONSTITUTION:A data sequence to be recorded is converted into another data sequence through a pre-coder 14 and then a signal reproduced through a tape head system 15 is restored to a data sequence through a post-coder 17, etc. Characteristics Gpo(D) of the post-coder 17 are as shown by equationI.
