Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate an assembly of the component members of the pump by a method wherein a casing of each of the component members is divided into some parts and then they may be integrally formed by a steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: A motor outer casing 10 is formed by a deep drawing of the steel plate to a cylindrical cup and the motor stator 14 is fixed at the inner circumference of the casing. In its inner part is inserted the motor inner casing 22 which is similarly formed as above, and then the motor rotor 40 is stored therein. In turn, the pump casing 12 is formed such that the suction port 26 is press drawn to form an entire drawn lid shape and the impellers 66 fixed to the rotor shaft 42 are stored. At the port of said casing 22 is arranged a circular partition plate 62 to separate the motor part from the pump part. At the closed end of said casing 10 is provided an insertion hole 20 for the power feeding cable 18. Each of said casings is formed such that each of the flanges 16, 24, 30 is integrally connected to each other.
