Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a fixing device which controls the displacement of a reactor by horizontal force easily by placing an imaginary fixing point at the center of the reactor, and controlling the plugs profected from the respective beams in the four sides in the lowermost part of the reactor by means of stoppers provided to the respective beams of a stand from both sides. CONSTITUTION:Lugs 8 for stoppers are projected to the central parts of the beams 7 at four sides in the bottom part of the reator, and stoppers 10 controlling movement in the longitudianl direction of the beam of the lugs 8 are provided in the central parts of beams 9 of a stand on both sides of the lugs 8. The gaps (overlap parts) of the stoppers 10 and the lugs 8 are set suitably in consideration for thermal expansion of the reactor, for example, at about 50-100mm.. With the above- mentioned constitution, when horizontal force such as seismic force, wind pressure or the like is applied upon the reactor, the lugs 8 abut on the stoppers 10, thereby controlling the displacement of the reactor by the horizontal force. When horizontal force in, for example, an X direction, is exerted, the lugs 8 abut on the stoppers at the points D, E, thereby controlling the displacement of the reactor. Since the respective displacement control parts are provided to the beams on the four sides, the reactor assumes the same state as that of the provision of a fixed point at the center A and the reactor is fixed to the stand surely.
