Abstract
PURPOSE: To depict a complicated colored pattern freely, and to obtain the stained glasslike decorative board having wide application by directly or indirectly printing the colored pattern on one surface or both surfaces of a light transmitting substrate by using a paper pattern or a stencil for screen printing.
CONSTITUTION: A pigment and/or dyes or the like are printed on the light transmitting substrate consisting of a transparent or semitransparent tabular body through the paper pattern or the screen printing stencil. As printing paste, one, the principal ingredient thereof is the pigment, is selected when the substrate is of glass, and one being excellent in affinity with the light transmitting substrate used as dyes for polyester fibers is selected when the substrate is of polyester. On printing, a printing layer 2 may be mounted on one surface or both surfaces of the light transmitting substrate 1, and the printing layer 2 may further be fitted onto the substrate 1, and the printing layer 2 may further be fitted onto the substrate 1 through a transparent film 3. A transparent board 4 is laminated on the printing layer 2, and the transparency of a film forming section can be recovered.
