Abstract

PURPOSE:To record a synthetic picture by providing two systems of exposure means and by performing exposure while overlaying necessary information from the 1st system and fixed-form pattern information from the 2nd system with each other. CONSTITUTION:After a photosensitive drum 4 is charged by an electric charger 7, the 1st exposure means A exposes optical picture information on an original, wherein a fixed-form pattern is entered, set on an original placing plate 1 at the prescribed position of the drum 4 successively. After the original picture is scanned, the original placing plate 1 is driven in the opposite direction by going beyond its home position to form the 2nd exposure means B, which while the drum 4 is turned for the 2nd time, exposes optical picture information in a dot pattern generated by an LED array 5 at the prescribed position of the drum 4 successibely. In this case, exposure timing is so set that the picture part by the 2nd exposure means is overlaid with that exposed by the 1st exposure means A. Then, development is carried out.
