CONSTITUTION:A fundamental ignition timing is computed through steps 100- 102 in accordance with various operation parameters. In steps 103, 105, and 107, the cylinder which is in a suction stroke at the detection time point of above-said parameters shall be found, and the ignition timing is set in the ignition device corresponding to the thus found cylinder. An ignition is given at the time point when the position of crank angle proceeds to each assigned position in steps 104, 106, 108, and 109 and the air in the above-said suction stroke is actually sucked into the cylinder.
