Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform the pulling out and inserting work for a large- sized rotor without using a crane by a method wherein an end of a rotating shaft is placed on a movable pedestal, while the other end is fixed on a rail which is movable to the axial direction and then the pedestal is thisfted. CONSTITUTION:The first rail 11 is provided on the installing floor 12, whereon the rotary electric machine 1 is installed, in parallel to the rotor shaft 2 of the rotor 4. Then, a movable pedestal 16 is provided on the first rail 11 and an end of the rotor shaft 2 is placed on it. Also, on the side of the other end of the rotor shaft 2, a mounting pedestal 20 and a retaining frame 21 are provided on the installing floor 12 and inside this retaining frame 21, the removable second rail 24 is provided in parallel to the rotor shaft and the other end section of the rotor shaft 2 is fixed on the second rail 24 by tightening. Under this state, a rotor 4 is pulled out by shifting the pedestal 16. Also, the rotor 4 is inserted into the stator 3 by performing said procedure in the reverse order.
