Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the automatic switching of color demodulation, by providing two resonance circuits which resonate with respective frequencies and a switching circuit which switches the resonance circuits through the presence of the outputs, with a receiver receiving two types of color television signals different from chrominance subcarrier frequency. CONSTITUTION:Two types of signals having different chrominance subcarrier frequency, e.g., 3.58MHz and 4.43MHz, are given to a composite color television signal input terminal 1. When the signal in 3.58MHz is incoming and a quartz oscillator 15 in 3.58MHz and a sub-hue adjusting circuit 22 in 3.58MHz and connected, the output of a color killer detection circuit 19 is at low level, no output appears at an AND gate 26, the output state of an FF25 is kept and the signal is in correct demodulating state. At this state, when a signal in 4.43MHz is incoming, the state of the FF25 is changed, a quartz oscillator 16 in 4.43MHz is connected to a local oscillating circuit 14, and the FF25 demodulates the signal in 4.43MHz.
