Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a reliable stepless speed change gear in a simple construction and with limited number of parts by providing a planetary wheel movable in radial direction between a sun wheel and a ring whose axial distance is adjustable.
CONSTITUTION: A cam plate 6, which consists of a straight pipe portion 4 and disc plate 5, is fitted loosely in a sun wheel shaft 1, the projection 8 provided on the top of the straight pipe portion 4 is sheathed slidably in the straight groove 10 formed within the sun wheel inner ring 9. Outer ring moving pins 12a, 12b are disposed on the outer periphery of the sun wheel inner ring 9, in which sun wheel outer rings 13a, 13b are engaged. A planetary wheel 19 engages and makes contact with a supporting groove 22 in which the shaft 20 extends to radial direction of planetary wheel supporting plates 21a, 21b, on each outer periphery of disc plates 15a, 15b of the sun wheel outer ring 13a, 13b. Rings 23a, 23b, which have a pin 24 engaged with the groove 26 of a ring case 25, are brought in contact with the outer periphery of the planetary wheel 19, being energized by a spring 27.
