Abstract

PURPOSE:To move a cursor to a prescribed position only through operation of a joystick, by setting a joy-stick input a blind sector angle. CONSTITUTION:The slant angle of a joy-stick 1 is detected 20, and the output V1 is converted by an absolute-value circuit 21 into a rectified waveform V2, which is inputted to a voltage-frequency converter (VFO) 23 to output a pulse sequency T6 of cursor movement to an AND gate 27. In this case, if a blid-sector angle detecting circuit 22 detects that the joy-stick is positioning in prescribed movement angle through the absolute-value circuit 21, FFs 24 and 25 are reset and the transmission of the output pulse sequence T6 from the VFO23 is inhibited by the gate 27, so that no output pulse appears at the output T7 of an OR circuit 28.
