Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform efficient cooling, in cylindrical winding enclosed in an oil filled transformer, winding odd number of insulators comprising one or more single wires in parallel, and inserting cooling duct spacers between conductors for every two conductors whose combination is changed every one turn. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder winding (a) is wound around an iron core of the oil filled transformer. A parallel conductor coils (b) are formed by winding conductors 11-13 wherein the single wire or a plurality of the single wires are combined and which are insulated by insulating paper. The cooling duct spacer (g) is inserted between the conductors 12 and 13, and wound by one turn. In the next turn, the spacer (g) is inserted between conductors 11' and 12' and turned. Then the spacer (g) is inserted between the conductors 13' and 11''. In this way the combination of a pair of two conductors are changed after one turn. Therefore, the upper surface and the lower surface of each conductor are alternately cooled every time the turn is changed, and the cooling is performed uniformly and efficiently. Furthermore, the cylindrical winding having good coil occupation ratio is obtained.
