Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the exchange of a nut by screwing a split nut to a screw shaft then securing said nut to a sliding chip.
CONSTITUTION: A screwed rod 4 is inserted into a fixing hole 7 of a sliding chip 6 while fixed to a supporting member. Then split nuts 8, 8' are splitted into members 11, 11' and screwed from both sides of said rod 4 to said rod 4. Under this state said nuts 8, 8' are rotated to move along said rod 4 thus to fit the section 9 into a fixing hole 7 and to contact the flange section 10 tightly to the side wall of a sliding chip 6. Thereafter a screw 13 is passed through an elongated hole 12 of the flange section 10 and secured to the sliding chip 6. When said nuts 8, 8' are worn and need to be replaced, the screw 13 is removed and to rotate only the split nuts 8, 8' thus to draw out from the fixing hole 7 and to remove the split members 11, 11'.
