Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically transfer items to the next process by transmitting the rotation of driving rollers to transfer rollers through a transmitter, and moving items along the transfer route by pressing the surface of items with the transfer rollers.
CONSTITUTION: Transfer rollers 24a, 24b, which are fixed to the both ends of a shaft 22 held at the end of a lower arm 20 of a V-shaped arm 18, are rotated by a motor 28 through driving rollers 30a, 30b, 30c and three belts 31. The transfer rollers 24a, 24b are pushed against the upper surface of a pallet 12' which contains items to be transferred by means of an arm 32 which is rotatably attached to the end of a piston rod 37 of an air cylinder 36. The items 12' is thus transferred automatically to the next work station.
