Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a master station gather office numbers of slave stations, by causing each slave station, which receives an initializing command from the master station, to return office number information after a set delay time. CONSTITUTION:M-number branch lines L1-LM of a maximum are connected to a master station MS, and n-number slave stations S11, S12-SMN are conncected to respective branch lines L1-LM. For example, in case office numbers from n-number slave stations connected to the branch line LM are gathered, the master station MS transmits polling information including an initializing informatin for the branch line LM. After receiving the initializing command, slave stations connected to the branch line LM calculate 2 time tw on a basis of office numbers which are set preliminarily to stations themselves, and slave stations return response information with office numbers added to the master station at time tw after the command receiving time.
