The output of the AND ciruit 18, therefore, goes down to a low level, so the light emission diode of a stereophonic display circuit 21 turns off and the output of the NOT circuit 19 goes up to a high level to turn on a transistor Q1 for difference signal muting, so that a stereophonic/monaural changeover circuit 20 is placed monaural reception mode.
