Abstract
PURPOSE:To correct a timing shift in a mass, by delaying a luminance signal by two lines at the stage that the color difference signals delayed every other alpha field are delayed by one line for the luminance signal with all frames. CONSTITUTION:A color TV signal is separated into a luminance signal and two color difference signals. The color difference signals are made a reset line sequential color difference signal so that the same color differece signal exist on the same scanning lines with all the frames. The line sequential color difference signal is recorded every two fields by a delay of one horizontal scanning period, and at playback, the color difference signal of the field not delayed at recording is delayed by one horizontal scanning period, then it is converted into the simultaneous color difference signal to delay the luminance signal for two horizontal scanning periods, allowing to correct the timing shifted for the processig of color difference in a mass.
