Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable higher fidelity simulation, by recording an actual reverberation picture in a VTR and processing this data for using for a training device in a reverberation simulation system of an underwater acoustic equipment. CONSTITUTION:An actual reverberation data recorded using a VTR9 is regenerated and converted to digital quantities in a data converting part 10 and then enclosed in a memory part 13. A central processing unit 1 incorporates conditions for training and items for setting a sonar indicating part 3 to compute a reverberation indication starting position and level controlling data from them. Further, when said computed result is sent to a simulation signal generating device 2, an address generating part 14 incorporating a microcomputer in built-in manner is operated with the simulation signal generating device 2, and addressing is performed from the memory part 13 to allow data 15 to be incorporated in order. And, after a directional pattern 17 for transmission and a gain characteristic 18 for reception are operated, the signal is converted by using an exponential converting part 19, an integral function 20 and a D/A converter 21, and is indicated by use of a sonar indicating part 3.
