Abstract

When the oil temp. is low, on the other hand, contraction of the wax 15 will shift the rod 19 and sheet member 20 downward with the aid of the pressure on the line 7 side to separate the sheet member 20 from the block 10 and thereby to open the passage 22. That is to say, it will be normally open regardless of the pressure on the line 7 side when the oil temp. is low.
