Abstract

PURPOSE:To position a flash tube on a back metal accurately and to improve orientation characteristics by providing a projection part at some part of the back metal forming a reflecting mirror facing the flash tube and by fixing the flash tube with the projection part. CONSTITUTION:A back metal 7 is made of bright alloy and forms a reflecting mirror with a reflecting umbrella 5. Then, a projection part 7b provided to the back metal 7 positions a flash tube 6 relatively to the reflecting mirror and brings a triggering transparent electrode part and the back metal into electric contact by pressing the flash tube 6 against the projection part. Therefore, a triggering high voltage is applied to the back metal to make the flash tube emit a flash. Thus, the orientation characteristics and guide number characteristics of a flash device are utilized excellently.
