Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of unloading a bulk cargo by providing an end of a vertical frame with rotary, bending, and expansive frames in order where a chain with a bucket of specific structure is mounted, so as to reach the bucket to substantially whole surface of the interior of a hold.
CONSTITUTION: A boom 1, on which a horizontal conveyor 2 is mounted, is provided with a frame 3 at the end thereof, which is pivotally supported on a bearing 4 and hangs down. A frame 7 is fixed to the lower end of the frame 3 through a swivel bearing 6 in such a manner as to be rotated by a motor 8. Frames 12, 13 capable of expansion and contraction are mounted on the lower end of the frame 7 through a bearing 11, and rocked by an oil hydraulic cylinder 14. A chain 12 with a bucket 20 is laid round sprockets 16W19 disposed at important positions. The chain 21 comprises spherical bushes 26, 28 fixed on joining portions of linkds 22, 27 and pins 25, 29, and rollers mounted on pin portions, which have a diameter larger than the width of the link.
