Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a network with high efficiency, by multiplexing an optical data with wavelength. CONSTITUTION:An optical data is inputted via a transmission line 3R. This optical data is branched on wavelength at a brancher 6 consisting of prism and the like and given to photoreceivers 7a-7n. The 1st photoreceiver 7a is to receive the light having the wavelength assigned in advance specific to the station. The station name and command for the communicated address are interpreted from the output of the receiver 7a at a logical section 8. The transmission line is minitored with the output data of the remaining photoreceivers 7b-7n. After the absence of communication is condirmed with the wavelength assigned to a desired communication station, the transmission of optical data is made. Thus, even if the network is tied in star shape, the collision of data can be avoided.
