Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to wash a precipitation promoting material easily and sufficiently without draining water, especially in a precipitation basin by slowly passing a running cart provided with plural washing nozzles communicated with an emitting pipe of a pump above the precipitation promoting material.
CONSTITUTION: When precipitation of foreign matters is recognized on a surface of said precipitation promoting material, without draining water in a traversely flowing type precipitation basin, an underwater pump 7 is driven as well as a motor is driven to transmit power thereof to a wire 11 and a running cart 5 is slowly run from one end of the traversely flowing type precipitation basin to other end thereof. Then, when the underwater pump 7 is driven, water subjected to coagulation treatment sucked from a suction part 15 of the underwater pump 7 is vigorously injected from a washing nozzle 9 as washing water W and, by the flowing of the washing water W, foreign matters S adhered to a surface of the precipitation promoting material 1 are washed off and the washed off foreign matters S are fallen to a lower part of the traversely flowing type precipitation basin along with the downward flow of the washing water W.
