Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a titled nozzle of improved dimensional accuracy which permits easy precision working with specular polishing by constituting a nozzle tip having a slit opening of two or more split bodies and forming the side wall surfaces of the slit as open outside surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle tip is constituted of approximately semicircular split bodies 1, 2 of the same shape on the right and left, and a slit opening 9 is formed in the central part. Namely, the respective surfaces enclosing the opening 9 are formed into the open outside surfaces of the respective split bodies 1, 2. Hence, despite the use of a material of superior abrasion resistance but poor workability such as high purity alumina or silicon nitride for the bodies 1, 2, the high dimensional accuracy by the specular working of the side wall surfaces of the opening 9 is obtained. The yield of working is considerably improved as well. In the figure, 3, 4 denote diametral parts, 5, 6 projecting parts, 7, 8 stepped shoulder parts, 10 a nozzle body and 10' a tapered surface, respectively.
