Abstract

PURPOSE: To release a lock by installing release bars which disengage a wedging function of interjacent lock bars in a sphenoidal space formed in one of relatively turnable rotators.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary axis 53 and an inner wheel 44 are interconnected through rollers or balls 12 and 13. A ring 74, which encircles the inner wheel 44, is provided with spaces 63 and 64 to accommodate release bars 21 and 22. Being made sphenoidally, the spaces 63 and 64 hold the release bars 21 and 22 when the ring 74 is turned. Thus the lock is released freely in both directions.
