Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an anode sheet with high density and large capacity, by pre- molding a humid mixture into a sheet, then after the sheet is dried, by rolling the sheet between two rolls which are different in surface circumferectial speeds. CONSTITUTION:A humid anode mixture is pre-molded into a pre-sheet, which is dried, then fed and rolled between two rolls which are different speeds to form an anode sheet. The moisture of this anode mixture is 14-17 weight %, and a roll- method or a paste-method may be used in order to obtain the sheet, the former roll- method can be performed by extruding this mixture between two rolls of a screw- type extruding machine which are in uniform rotation. Also, the thickness of the pre-molded sheet shall be 2-3 times that of the anode sheet. For example, using 4 rolls, the surface circumferectial speed of rolls Band C shall be 1.2 times that of rolls A and B; the premolded-sheet 1 is fed between rolls A and B, and rolls C and D to form a rolled sheet 2, which is fed together with a collector 3 and rolled between rolls B and C to form an anode sheet 4 containing the collector therein. Thus, the anode sheet with high density and large capacity can be obtained, by crushing many pores in the dried premolded-sheet.
