Abstract

PURPOSE:To vary the electromagnetic wave mode from the outside easily, by constituting a portion of the inner wall of a cubic resonance circuit or transmission circuit of the electromagnetic wave provided in the mutual function area slidably. CONSTITUTION:A sliding chip constituting the inner wall of an iris 12 is movable. Said chip 18 will slide on the inner walls of an open type resonator 11 and a transmission circuit 27. When rotating a tuning chip 23, the integrated sliding chip 18 will move through a movable board 20 and a supporting rod 19. Consequently the size of said resonator 11 will vary without sacrifice of the axial symmetry. As a result the resonance frequency and the Q characteristic of said resonator 11 can be varied.
