Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A platy diaphragm of sandwich structure is formed by bonding surface materials 2, 2' of high modulus of elasticity made of light metal such as Al or plastic composite material such as fiber reinforced plastics on a core material 1 made of foamed styrene - maleic anhydride copolymer. Thus, the diaphragm is made light, high in specific modulus of a elasticity, excellent in acoustic characteristic and improved in thermal resistance.
