Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process of a cylindrical type alkaline batbery and improve its character, by filling a separating case with the gel-like cathode after making it by winding a separator in many layers, forming the substantial bottom by melting its bottom portion, and inserting a bottom paper after contracting process. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like separator 2 made of synthetic fiber woven cloth or the like is wound round a core 7 in many layers.
