Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of transmitting efficiency of a signal transmitting device by a method wherein a short-circuiting means to short-circuit selectively adjoining channels of adjoining pairs of plural pairs of transformers arranged on a core is provided. CONSTITUTION:At a VTR being arranged with a pair of two heads 6, 7, 8, 9 respectively for normal picture recording and reproduction and for special picture recording and reprodution, when four channels (1)-(4) are to be provided to a pair of rotary transformers for transmission of signal, a pair of video heads 6, 7 thereof are arranged at the channels (1), (2) being on the center side of the rotary transformer, and the other pair of video heads 8, 9 are arranged at the channels (3), (4). Moreover mechanical switches or short-circuiting circuits 11, 12 for prevention of leakage of flux are provided in the channels (2) and (3).
